Refunds, Cancellations & Service Policy

Thank you for choosing Lore Beauty. We are committed to providing professional, personalised beauty treatments in a comfortable, private setting.

Please take a moment to review our policies before booking or purchasing products.

1. Service Satisfaction & Refunds

We strive to ensure every treatment meets your expectations. If you have concerns about the results of your facial, waxing, tinting, lash or brow treatment, or spray tan, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment.

Where appropriate, we may offer a complimentary adjustment or follow-up treatment, studio credit, or a 25% discount on your next treatment.

Refunds and other remedies will be assessed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under applicable consumer guarantees.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

As a small, appointment-only studio, we kindly ask that you respect the time reserved for your appointment.

10 days' notice or more: One courtesy reschedule is available.
Less than 10 days' notice: A $50 rescheduling fee may apply.
Cancellations on the same day or less than 12 hours before your appointment: A $75 rescheduling fee may apply.

Rescheduling fees are separate from your remaining treatment balance. Any applicable fees will be communicated before they are charged and applied in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.

3. Prepaid Services

Prepaid treatments are subject to the cancellation and rescheduling conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

If you need to change your booking, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements. Refunds and other remedies will be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Late Arrivals

A 15-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. If you arrive later than this, your treatment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, depending on availability.

5. After-Hours Appointments

Appointments outside our standard operating hours are available upon request and incur a $10 after-hours fee.

6. Treatment-Specific Concerns

Facials

Some facial treatments may cause temporary redness or sensitivity, depending on the products and techniques used. Possible reactions and appropriate aftercare will be discussed during your consultation.

If you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns following your treatment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the situation and discuss appropriate next steps.

Waxing

Temporary redness, sensitivity and minor irritation can occur following waxing. If you experience an unusual or severe reaction, including suspected burns or an allergic reaction, please contact us promptly and seek medical attention if necessary.

Tinting, Lash Lifts & Brow Treatments

If you are unhappy with the results of your tinting, lash lift or brow treatment, please contact us within 48 hours. Where appropriate, an adjustment or follow-up may be offered.

Spray Tanning

For concerns about your spray tan, including uneven application or unexpected results, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. Please follow the recommended preparation and aftercare instructions, as these can affect your results.

Each concern will be assessed individually, and an appropriate adjustment or remedy will be offered where applicable.

7. Product Sales & Returns

All product sales are considered final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection or products that are no longer wanted.

However, if a product is faulty, damaged or does not meet the consumer guarantees required by Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Please contact us with your proof of purchase and details of the issue so we can assist you.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Promotions & Special Offers

Promotions, packages and special offers may have additional booking conditions. These will be communicated at the time of purchase and remain subject to Australian Consumer Law.

9.1 Wednesday Waxing Promotion

Our Wednesday Waxing promotion offers 15% off eligible delicate and body waxing services on Wednesdays.

Terms & Conditions:

The discount applies to eligible delicate and body waxing services only.
Appointments must be booked for and attended on a Wednesday to qualify.
The 15% discount applies to the standard listed price of eligible services.
The offer cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions or special offers unless otherwise stated.
The discount is not redeemable for cash or transferable to another person.
Missed appointments and cancellations remain subject to Lore Beauty's standard booking policy.
Lore Beauty reserves the right to amend or discontinue the promotion. Bookings already confirmed under the offer will be honoured according to the terms communicated at booking.

10. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Treatment

Lore Beauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment if a client behaves in an abusive, threatening or violent manner, is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or refuses to follow essential safety instructions or treatment requirements.

11. Policy Updates

Lore Beauty may update this policy from time to time. The current version will be available on our website. Changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

12. Business Name Change: Dulce Body to Lore Beauty

Dulce Body has rebranded to Lore Beauty. Existing client forms and agreements remain applicable to the extent permitted by law. The business name change does not affect your existing consumer rights or entitlements.
